Luxury Glamping buses available for hire outside of event times

What Bustopia is... eco-friendly custom-built glamping buses created from out-of-commission buses, upcycling them to give them a new lease of life. Off-grid luxury glamping accommodation using reclaimed materials (mainly scaffold boards). All buses are fully insulated with insulation made from recycled plastic bottles. The electricity comes from the sun, and our toilets are all waterless compost toilets.

single decker GLAMPING BUS

Our newest glamping addition is an absolute show stopper!  ‘Grasshopper’ is a 2000 Dennis Dart bus, lovingly converted by Bustopia, our partners in this new venture.  Equipped with all you need for a quick getaway or a longer break, ‘Grasshopper’ offers the ultimate glamping experience for couples or families so don’t miss the bus, book today!

On-board facilities

  • A comfortable double bed (all bedding provided)

  • Small double sofa bed (all bedding provided)

  • If that’s not enough, if you’ve made too many kids, there’s space for another couple of small people around the double bed. (the bus is equipped for 4 guests so there’s no extra charge for a couple more little ones, just bring your own roll mats and sleeping bags)

  • Compost, waterless toilet – full instructions provided!

  • Kitchenette with sink (cold water only), 3 ring gas hob, fridge, kettle, toaster, basic cooking equipment including a frying pan and saucepan, crockery, mugs, glasses, cutlery and washing up bowl, tea towel and pan scrubber

  • Kitchen counter with seating for 2

  • For the cooler months, there is a pot belly gas stove with fire guard provided, there’s also a diesel hot air blower as an alternative heating system.

  • The bus is powered by solar panels providing 12V power for the lights and fridge.  There are 2 USB charging points for your mobile devices but no 240V 3 pin domestic sockets

  • The driver’s cab is fully intact, so the kids can pretend they’re driving the bus anywhere they choose to go!

  • Fridge with a small freezer box

  • The bus is fitted with smoke and carbon monoxide alarms

  • Parking space for a couple of vehicles

  • A long, beautiful wooden deck for star gazing (we’re part of a designated dark skies reserve so you can expect to be wowed by the milky way on clear nights.)

  • The site has very cool showers in the far corner of the field

  • There’s a table and chairs plus 2 loungers for either star gazing or sun worship

  • Big, sociable campfires encouraged, fire pit provided (no charge)

  • Expect to see a lot of nature visit you in this quiet corner of the field.

  • The 360-degree views are truly sensational 

Stunning double-decker arriving for June!

It’s got all the same bells and whistles but can easily accommodate two families of 4.  Two double bedrooms, a day bed at the front upstairs can accommodate another couple and there’s an under-bed den for a few small people too.
